PSR Overview

As baptized Catholics, every child within our parish ought to have Catholic education. For those children who attend public school, St. Clement of Rome Parish offers weekly Catholic education classes through its Parish School of Religion program. The PSR program works in tandem with parents as we develop the faith and knowledge of Catholicism in our youth.

The PSR Catechists (teachers) present the teachings of the Catholic Church in an age-appropriate manner, using an approved curriculum. The curriculum highlights areas of our Catholic religion such as the Ten Commandments, Sacraments, Bible study, morality, prayer, liturgy, and building a relationship with God. The PSR program also provides sacramental preparation for 2nd graders receiving their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, as well as 7th graders receiving their sacrament of Confirmation.

PSR classes are held on Tuesday nights from 6:00PM-7:15PM, September through May, at St. Clement of Rome School. (7th Grade Private School Students begin Confirmation preparation classes in January.)

To enroll in St. Clement of Rome Parish School of Religion or a sacramental program, your family needs to be registered parishioners. If you are not a parishioner, written permission from your current pastor is required.

To register, please print, complete, and submit the PSR Registration Form and Parent Witness Statement to the address listed on the registration form. (Registration links found on the left of this website.) Registration is due on or before August 1st. Tuition, due with completed registration forms, is $125.00 per child. Make checks payable to St. Clement of Rome Parish.
