Give

Why Give?

Your offering is an expression of gratitude to God for the gifts he has given you as well as the primary source of income for the parish. Your gift helps cover the operating costs of the parish: utility bills, clergy and staff salaries, insurance, Church decorations, grounds maintenance, and all other expenses involved in operating our church and school. Our Parish's evangelization ministries are limited only by our available funds.

Not only does your gift benefit St. Clement of Rome, the fifth precept of the Catholic Church states that, "You shall help provide for the needs of the Church." Your gift, according to your ability, helps fulfill your obligation to assist with the material needs of the Church.

After registering with the parish, you will automatically receive offertory envelopes by mail. Envelopes can be placed in the collection baskets during the Offertory or mailed or dropped off at the parish office, or you may choose to enroll in Online Giving by clicking on the button below:

Are you looking to make a donation to St. Clement of Rome?  You may be eligible for an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).  Below are some things you may not know:

  • You are eligible to make Qualified Charitable Distributions beginning at 70 ½, regardless of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) age.
  • Contributions must be made from a traditional IRA.
  • Distributions must go directly from your IRA account to St. Clement of Rome.
IRA QCDs are excluded from taxable income.
  • Taxpayers who do not itemize benefit most from an IRA QCD, since they do not receive a tax benefit for charitable gifts.
  • You may be able to give up to $105,000 per year, $210,000 for a couple.
  • Taxpayers who’ve reached the limit for charitable giving (usually 60% of adjusted gross income for cash gifts) can give more - up to the IRA limit.
  • Your QCD can satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). Contact your IRA administrator about your RMD.
