The Catechumenate (Rite of Christian Initiation)

The Catechumenate or Rite of Christian initiation is an initiation process whereby non-Catholics are received into the fullness of the Catholic Church through the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation.

This is a process of faith development through the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Faith, focusing on prayer, Scripture, Sacraments, and building community.

The goal is a lifelong participation in the life of the Church that deepens our relationship with Jesus Christ. New members are guided to discern a personal ministry as they embark upon their new life in Christ.
