Choir

Singing is praying twice.   -- St. Augustine

The Adult Choir sings at the 11:00 Mass on Sundays, September through May.  We also sing Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve 11:00 p.m., Holy Thurday, and the Easter Vigil.  

The Children Choir sings at the 8:00am liturgies on Thursdays and Fridays during the school year.  

Adults who enjoy singing are encouraged to join the choir.  Contact David Kowalczyk.  
Children in Grades 4-7 who are interested in joining the choir should contact Eugene Pierce.

 

 

Our patron saint is St. Cecilia, patron of music.

 Her feast day is November 22.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  When does the Adult Choir practice?

A.  The Adult Choir meets on Mondays 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church, and Sundays at 10:15 a.m. in the Music Room.

Q.  I travel every spring.  Can I join the choir for the fall?

A.  Contact David to discuss.

Q.  Do I have to have a great voice to be in the choir?

A.  No.  Just the ability to match pitch and want to sing.
